This summer, Metropolitan State University has partnered with the Ramsey County Sexual Violence Response Team to host a Sexual Violence Prevention Effective Responder Training session. This four-day session is intended for individuals interested in advocacy work and will provide an introduction to the issue of sexual assault and violence prevention.
Attendance is free for Metropolitan State students, staff and faculty, as well as MnSCU employees. Non-MnSCU participants are welcome to attend for $75, which can be paid at registration.
The training is at the Saint Paul Campus in the Library, Ecolab Room 302. The dates and times are:
- Thursday, May 28: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (lunch is provided)
- Friday, May 29: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
- Monday, June 1: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (lunch is provided)
- Tuesday, June 2: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
