Vegetables are harvest ready at Metro State community garden

Garden1There is still time to participate in the fresh vegetables harvest at the Inver Hills – Metropolitan State University community garden.

The garden has produced more than 323 pounds of apples, 80.5 pounds of cabbages, 26 pounds of peppers and more than 26 pounds of tomatoes. The garden is open daily for volunteer work, and group gardening is organized noon to 3 p.m. each Saturday.
