Metropolitan State’s International Student Organization (ISO) hosts two upcoming events exploring international cultures.
International Connection Series Part One: Asia
When: Noon–1:30 p.m., Oct. 21
Where: Founders Hall Reception Area, Saint Paul Campus
The International Connection Series is an ongoing series of cultural events that introduces a panel of students from the international student community at Metropolitan State University. Each event focuses on a different region of the world, beginning with Asia. Student panelists discuss a list of topics and share their own experiences as international students living in the United States. This event is sponsored by the ISO and International Student Services (ISS). Refreshments provided. Register on OrgSync.
Language Exchange Program
When: 5–7p.m. Oct. 23
Where: Library and Learning Center, Saint Paul Campus
This event is dedicated to bringing students together to learn and appreciate different languages from the four corners of the world. Learn a word or two in Hindi, French, Lingala, Yoruba, Spanish, Russian, American Sign Language and many more. Register on OrgSync.
