Spring 2016 course explores African struggle for independence

The History Department announces a course offering available spring 2016. HIST 362–Africa: From Colonialism to Independence challenges students to consider the struggle of African people for independence and the effects of European colonialism on the present-day socioeconomic and political conditions of sub-Saharan Africa. The course meets on the Minneapolis Campus from 6 to 9:20 p.m., Tuesdays.
