Holiday event illuminates Phalen Park

HLNewLogoPlainHoliday Lights in the Park, the Midwest’s largest outdoor holiday light display, illuminates Saint Paul’s Phalen Park from Nov. 24, 2015­–Jan. 1, 2016. Visitors tour the park in the warm confines of their vehicles and enjoy more than 60 holiday-themed light displays located on a driving path. This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland.”

“This continues to be a very family-friendly event that has something for everyone,” said Susan Jones, co-coordinator, Holiday Lights in the Park. “Ninety-five percent of the displays are new to the event, which provides visitors with a fresh take. Whether it’s your first time or if you’ve come every year, you will see something brand new.”

HolidayLightsleftHoliday Lights in the Park is organized by the Saint Paul Police Foundation (SPPF) to create a fun and affordable holiday event that raises funds to help protect the men and women who protect the residents of Saint Paul. Event proceeds are distributed through the SPPF to the Saint Paul Police Department to provide enhanced safety and training for officers and help fund the department’s volunteer organizations

The path is open 5–10 p.m. nightly from Nov. 24–Jan. 1, Phalen Park, 1615 Phalen Drive East, Saint Paul. Tickets are $10 at the gate (cash only) or $8 online. For more information visit this link.
