The Equal Opportunity and Diversity office offers online discrimination, harassment and sexual harassment prevention training. Each employee is required to complete this training by
Dec. 31, either in person or via the new online training format.
The training is designed to help employees understand their roles, responsibilities, rights and obligations per the Board of Trustees’ 1B.1 Nondiscrimination in Employment and Education Opportunity policy and Metropolitan State University Policy 1010.
To access the training, log in to D2L and use the drop down menu at the top labeled “Select a Course” to select “Policy 1b.1 Equal Opportunity and Non Discrimination in Employment and Education Training_2016.”
Upon completion, a brief quiz is offered. Employees must obtain a passing score of 70 percent or higher in order demonstrate fulfillment of the training objectives.
