Minnesota Reading and Math Corps seeks student tutors to help Minnesota children become successful in math and reading. Positions run mid-January through the end of June. Applications are due by Jan. 4. Benefits include:

Minnesota Reading Corps is a statewide initiative to help every Minnesota child become a successful reader by the end of third grade. The program places AmeriCorps members as literacy tutors in sites across Minnesota to implement a research-based early literacy effort to help struggling readers. The Minnesota Reading Corps strategies are designed for both preschool-aged children and K-3 grade students.
Minnesota Math Corps is an AmeriCorps program that provides trained math tutors for students grades four through eight. It is a statewide initiative to help students become proficient in algebra by the end of eighth grade. Currently, 200 Math Corps members are serving in more than 180 schools representing over 60 school districts
