Attend the Big Read wrap up events

Metropolitan State’s Big Read events are just about over, but there are still two events to check out. Daryl Parks, associate professor, College of Writing and Arts, presents a lecture titled “African American English in Their Eyes Were Watching God.” This event is 3–4 p.m., March 23.

The Big Read will wrap up with a lecture from CWA faculty Tammy Durant, Carolyn Whitson, and Julie Kae, 1–3 p.m., March 31. The presentation is titled “Zora Neale Hurston and the Art of Black Lives.”

Both events are in the Science Education Center, Room 115, Saint Paul Campus, and are free and open to the public. Light snacks are provided.
