The fifth annual LunaFest, a film festival by, for and about women, is being held in Saint Paul for the first time. The event starts at 7 p.m., Friday, May 20 at Film Space in Founders Hall, Saint Paul Campus.
“LunaFest is a small, but acclaimed, one night film festival that tours nationally and has quite a following. Proceeds benefit breast cancer research, the MN Peace Building Institute and promotes women in the film industry. It is a very worthwhile cause that addresses our university constituency as well as promoting opportunities and role models for women in film,” said James Byrne, coordinator, Screenwriting Program.
Tickets for students are two for $25. To get this discount, e-mail Donna Minter at firstname.lastname@example.org. For non-students, the price is $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets can be ordered online.
