“Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting.”
– Franklin D. Roosevelt
These are critical times for our country, our state, and our university. Our collective vote within the Metropolitan State University community can influence the direction our state is governed which includes how funds are allocated for higher education. However, this influence will be wasted if we stay away from the poll.
Tuesday, August 9 is the primary election. Improve your educational experience and VOTE. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
For more information on where to vote, ballot questions, how to vote, etc. please connect with the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website or contact your Metropolitan State Votes coordinator, Brett Buckner, at email@example.com.
