Flu shot season is here

It’s flu season in the Northern Hemisphere, and that means fighting the nasty virus with a flu shot. They are a good way to stay healthy through midterm, finals, and the winter months.

The State of Minnesota Employee workplace flu vaccination clinics have been scheduled.  The seasonal flu shot will be available at selected state agency locations, with no out of pocket costs, to state employees who present their Minnesota Advantage Health Plan member ID card (this is your Blue Cross, Preferred One or Health Partners card). Without the Minnesota Advantage Health Plan ID card, the cost of the vaccine is $33.
