The Constitution Day Dialogue Initiative, organized by Minnesota Campus Compact, launches in September.
The purpose of the initiative is to gather and organize those who wish to work to build, expand and connect dialogue efforts as a means of fulfilling their respective institutions’ civic missions.
Minnesota Campus Compact supports civic engagement and democratic renewal through their diverse network of colleges and universities. Its member campuses build partnerships and educate students to develop creative solutions to society’s most pressing issues.
Those who want to be involved in the initiative, or just to add tools to their dialogue toolbox, should attend the Civic Dialogue—Twin Cities Gathering inaugural meeting 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, May 24 at Metropolitan State University’s Library and Learning Center, Room 302, 645 East Seventh Street, Saint Paul, 55106.
