The Health and Wellness Association at Metropolitan State University is seeking new members to join its revamped student group.
On-campus health and wellness expos, health and wellness assessments, and discussions of positive campus behaviors and habits are just a few activities this group will facilitate and participate in.
Students already have free access to the Metropolitan State Fitness Center as part of their tuition. A discounted rate of $40 is offered to faculty and staff for the fall semester.

Getting your daily workout in is about to get a lot easier. A new fitness center opens Feb. 23 on Saint Paul Campus. The facility, located on the second floor of the Student Center, features the following amenities:
- Stretching mats
- Foam rollers
- Full bathrooms with showers
The current equipment includes:
- Roman chair
- Hoist trainer
- Dumbbell sets
- Resistance bands
- Stability balls
The fitness center is free for Metropolitan State students and available to employees for a nominal fee. For a complete list of current and planned equipment, view this flyer.
