Shoe away hunger, Sept. 16-30: Donate your old footwear

Get rid of new or gently-used footwear including sneakers, sports shoes, casual shoes, boots, flip flops, ice skates, etc., and make a difference.

Food for Thought at Metropolitan State University will donate these shoes to our nonprofit partner, Good in the ‘Hood, to raise funds to support their food pantry. All sizes, shapes and conditions. The nice shoes bring in more funds, so those are especially welcome.

Encourage your friends, relatives and neighbors to do the same. Tie or band them together and place them in one of the bins that will be available on all four campuses starting Sept. 16, when the campaign kicks off at Fall Fest. The campaign ends on Sept 30.
