Donate your gently used clothing, toys and more

SPCIn preparation for the annual resource fair in August, the Student Parent Center is accepting new and gently used children’s clothing, accessories, sporting equipment, toys, baby items, school supplies and food. Student Parent Center Coordinator Sue Fust says the fair is an opportunity for the university community to help students with families to support. “It’s an exchange as well—students can donate items of clothing their children have outgrown and other students with younger kids can benefit.”

Donation bins are located at the Midway Center security desk, Saint Paul Campus Library and Learning Center first floor, Founder’s Hall: Gateway Services, Student Life office and Food for Thought, and the Brooklyn Park Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice clothesEducation Center.

The resource fair is on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2–7 p.m., New Main, Great Hall, Saint Paul Campus. No registration is required.

Cash donations are accepted via check made out to: Metropolitan State University Foundation, Memo: Student Parent Center or Food for Thought. For more information, contact the Student Parent Center at 651-793-1564 or student.parentcenter@metrostate.edu.
