Wondering which technical communication career options are for you?
You are invited to hear technical communication professionals discuss their own career paths, and the wide range of job options in the field for you. The event will be from 6-8 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Saint Paul Campus, New Main, room L205.
Panelists will include alumni and students specializing in:
– technical writing
– user experience design
– business analysis
– instructional design
The event is free, open to everyone, and a great networking opportunity. Refreshments will be provided.
TC3 will host a potluck from 6-8 pm, Friday, Oct. 14 in room MDWY A at Metropolitan State University’s Midway campus.
Bring a dish and your questions about freelancing. Technical communication professionals will cover topics on time management, personal branding and how to set up an limited liability company (LLC).
The event is free and open to the Metropolitan State University community. Bringing food is optional.

TC3, the technical communication student organization, is hosting a summer meetup and potluck from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, June 17 in Library Room 301, Saint Paul Campus.
All students are welcome to attend, network with other students and hear from a talent acquisition specialist on interviewing for jobs.
Animals provide companionship and unconditional love to millions of people, without asking for much in return. However, sometimes these animals need some serious help. That’s where people like Chris Hintze come in.
“So many animals get left behind,” Hintze says. The Metropolitan State grad student volunteers at Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, helping to care for and transport animals in need. “They can be in rough condition when we take them in.”
According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year.
